Fitness is a life-long pursuit. Our goal is to set you on a course to optimal fitness.
If you think you can just join a gym and use some of the machines, maybe read a book or two to explain some exercises and routines, you are in for disappointment. There is no substitute for a professional fitness trainer.
As a twenty-five year veteran of physical fitness training, I see countless examples of people who go faithfully to their gym every day, train hard, and continue to get little or no results. Imagine trying to build a house by throwing wood, nails, and paint into a pile. That's what they are doing. They lack the knowledge and expertise required to put a house together, or in this case, to build a body.
Ideally, I advise all of my clients to hire a certified personal trainer, and go through a typical period of four months. Only after that will you realize and appreciate the value of learning the correct way to train. You will not only achieve the desired results, but you will also have the knowledge and experience to continue repeating your training to produce continued results, for as long as you choose to train.
